sera pH-Test

Makes it easy to monitor the pH value in fresh and marine water and ponds. For approx. 100 measurements

In case of too low pH values we recommend sera KH/pH-plus (in freshwater aquariums) or sera pond bio balance (in ponds), in case of too high values in freshwater aquariums we recommend sera pH/KH-minus or filtering through sera super peat.

sera kH-Test

Makes it easy to monitor the carbonate hardness in fresh and salt water

For approx. 390°dKH.

In case of too low KH values we recommend sera KH/pH-plus (in freshwater) or sera pond bio balance (in ponds), in case of too high values we recommend filtering through sera super peat (in freshwater aquariums).

sera calcium-Test (Ca)

This test monitors the calcium level easily and precisely in steps of 20 mg/l (ppm)

For approx. 7.500 mg (ppm) calcium. Add sera marin COMPONENT 1 Ca in case of too low Ca levels. A partial water change will help in case of too high levels.

sera magnesium-Test (Mg)

For monitoring magnesium levels in marine aquariums easily and safely

The magnesium level can be increased with sera marin COMPONENT 6 magnesium. Reagent consumption depends on the calcium level of the checked water.

sera ammonium/ammonia-Test (NH4/NH3)

Makes it easy to monitor the ammonium/ammonia level in fresh and marine water

Ammonium and ammonia mainly arise from fish waste. They are converted into each other depending on the pH value. While ammonium is mostly harmless, ammonia is toxic to fish.

The sera NH4/NH3-Test allows monitoring the total concentration of both (the actual ammonia level can be calculated according to the pH value the using the included chart).

In case of acute danger, sera toxivec (freshwater) or sera pond toxivec (pond) provide help. sera bio nitrivec (freshwater), sera marin bio reefclear (marine water) or sera pond bio nitrivec (pond) actively counteract lasting enrichment of these substances.

Sufficient for approx. 60 measurements.

sera nitrite-Test (NO2)

Makes it easy to monitor the nitrite level in fresh and marine water

Nitrite (NO2) is among the most toxic substances for fish in aquariums. It can enrich in the water in case of insufficient biological filtration.

The sera NO2-Test allows monitoring the nitrite level in fresh and marine water easily and reliably.

We recommend using sera bio nitrivec (freshwater), sera marin bio reefclear (marine water) or sera pond bio nitrivec (pond) in case of slightly elevated nitrite levels. In case of severe nitrite problems, sera Nitrite-minus quickly provide help.

Sufficient for approx. 75 measurements.

sera nitrate-Test (NO3)

Makes it easy to monitor the nitrate level in fresh and marine water

Nitrate (NO3) is an indicator for severe organic pollution. The source of this organic pollution should be eliminated, a partial water change provides immediate help. In the long run, filtering through sera siporax Professional helps avoiding nitrate enrichment.

Sufficient for approx. 60 measurements.

sera phosphate-Test (PO4)

Makes it easy to monitor the phosphate level in fresh and marine water

Both fish waste and feeding are possible causes for phosphate introduction into the water. A part is taken up as a nutrient by plants, an excess, however, provides nutrition for unwanted algae.

The sera PO4-Test quickly and easily provides an overview of current phosphate levels. Excess phosphate is easy to remove with sera phosvec･clear (freshwater) or sera phosvec Granulat (fresh and marine water) or sera pond phosvec (pond).
