Chemiclean Cynobacteria is a safe and effective way to remove cyanobacteria from your aquarium.
It works by oxidizing the organic sludge that cyanobacteria feed on, starving them and causing them to die.
Cleans stains from red, black, blue-green, and methane (bubble) producing cyanobacteria in marine aquariums.
Works within 48 hours oxidizing trapped organic sludge and promotes an ideal enzyme balance.
Completely safe for all fish, corals, invertebrates, and nitrifying bacteria in reef systems.

Directions:

Add Chemiclean Cynobacteria to your aquarium according to the instructions on the package.
Increase aquarium oxygen levels.
Aquarium oxygen levels must be increased using heavy aeration or a large air stone.
Turn off any UV sterilizers or ozonizers during treatment.
Continue using your protein skimmer, although you may need to adjust it to prevent excessive overflow.
Maintain normal water flow using pumps and powerheads.
Monitor your aquarium closely and remove any dead cyanobacteria.

Successful treatment may take up to 48 hours.
After the 48 hour treatment period, perform a 20% water change.

Warnings:

Do not use Chemiclean Cynobacteria in conjunction with other algaecides or medications.
Do not use Chemiclean Cynobacteria if your aquarium is already experiencing a high level of oxygen depletion.

Repeat as necessary.
Chemiclean can be used monthly as a regular component of aquarium maintenance.
