Tropic Marin® Block Iodine
is a concentrated solution for adding iodine, fluorine, bromine, and selenium if there are deficits in the aquarium.
The halogen iodine, fluorine, and bromine are incorporated in organic and inorganic skeletons and strengthen them. Iodine is essential for the light acclimatization of corals. Selenium acts as protection against oxygen radicals.
The Tropic Marin® Block System uses an indicator element to dose-related trace elements that are consumed in the same ratio. Often, their levels are below the detection limit of the analyzing meters and cannot be measured correctly.
Elements, Chemical Symbol and contents:
Iodine – I – 875 mg /l (ppm)
Fluorine – F – 1110 mg /l (ppm)
Bromine – Br – 435 mg /l (ppm)
Selenium – Se – 0.5 mg/l (ppm)
Tropic Marin® Block Molydenum
Concentrated solution for adding molybdenum, rubidium, vanadium, tungsten, tellurium, and hafnium if there are deficits in the aquarium.
Molybdenum, vanadium, and tungsten are associated with key conversions in the metabolism of corals and other marine animals and algae, rubidium as an alkali metal is important for the ion balance, tellurium and hafnium are trace elements in seawater, the function of which is not yet known.
The Tropic Marin® Block System uses an indicator element to dose-related trace elements that are consumed in the same ratio. Often, their levels are below the detection limit of the analyzing meters and cannot be measured correctly.
Elements, Chemical Symbol and contents:
Molybdenum – Mo – 150 mg/l (ppm)
Rubidium – Rb – 150 mg/l (ppm)
Vanadium – V – 60 mg/l (ppm)
Tungsten – W – 0.75 mg/l (ppm)
Tellurium – Te – 0.15 mg/l (ppm)
Hafnium – 0.15 mg/l (ppm)
Tropic Marin® Block Nickel
Concentrated solution for adding nickel, manganese, iron, cobalt, and boron if there are deficits in the aquarium.
The transition metals nickel, manganese, iron, and cobalt are key catalysts in the metabolism, and deepen the coloration of the corals, highlighting the fluorescent colors. The trace element boron is essential for normal development and metabolism.
The Tropic Marin® Block System uses an indicator element to dose-related trace elements that are consumed in the same ratio. Often, their levels are below the detection limit of the analyzing meters and cannot be measured correctly.
Elements, Chemical Symbol and contents:
Nickel – Ni – 50 mg/l (ppm)
Manganese – Mn – 100 mg/l (ppm)
Iron – Fe – 75 mg/l (ppm)
Cobalt – Co – 12 mg/l (ppm)
Boron – B – 35 mg/l (ppm)
Tropic Marin® Block Strontium
Concentrated solution for adding strontium and barium if there are deficits in the aquarium.
As an alkaline earth metal, strontium and barium are essential for skeletal growth in corals, and other marine animals and algae.
The Tropic Marin® Block System uses an indicator element to dose-related trace elements that are consumed in the same ratio. Often, their levels are below the detection limit of the analyzing meters and cannot be measured correctly.
Elements, Chemical Symbol and contents:
Strontium – Sr – 50,000 mg/l (ppm)
Barium – B – 66 mg/l (ppm)
Tropic Marin® Block Zinc
Concentrated solution for adding zinc, copper, chromium, and gallium if there are deficits in the aquarium.
The transition metals zinc, copper, and chromium are key catalysts in the metabolism, and brighten the coloration of the corals, making the pocilloporin pigments glow. Gallium is a trace element in seawater, the function of which is not yet known.
The Tropic Marin® Block System uses an indicator element to dose-related trace elements that are consumed in the same ratio. Often, their levels are below the detection limit of the analyzing meters and cannot be measured correctly.
Elements, Chemical Symbol and contents:
Zinc – Zn – 50 mg/l (ppm)
Copper – Cu – 32 mg/l (ppm)
Chromium – Cr – 20 mg/l (ppm)
Gallium – Ga – 0.05 mg/l (ppm)
